Lonely

I tire of being interested in people
Without them being interested in me
Not as the boy wonder
Survived a brain tomer
Freak show
But rather interested in me
The poet
The writer
The brain
The soul
The spirit
Is it not to much to ask
To find one being on this planet
Who would actually like to sit down and get to know me
And miracle of miracles maybe even they share some common interests
Is such a thing going to happen
I know not
Yet I sit and wait just the same

I can empathise with him, to the medical profession, you are nothing but a collection of cells and symptoms.

Well, the writing is good, but the aim is not clear. If you seek sympathy and or a date then you are pathetic. But, if you seak empathy and simply wanted to get your feelings down on paper then you are commendable and quite right.
